Sup! My post below isn’t exactly accurate. Impact checked out my post and cleared it up for me. The Battle For Surpremacy is basically one massive DJ Battle which the top 8 end up advancing to the main event (I hope this makes sense). This is how the rounds work:

Round 1 – 32 DJ’s
Round 2- 16 DJ’s
Round 3- 8 DJ’s (Main Event)
Round 4- 4 DJ’s (Main Event)
Round 5- 2 DJ’s – Grand Final (Main Event)

In the spectators eye you probably think the battle starts at number 8 (which people don’t realise is technically the third round) but as you can see, the “behind the scenes battle” plays a huge part to that top 8.

Impact Entered Round 1 and won his battle and advanced to Round 2 where he lost his battle to DJ Shub of Canada.
