The Scratch Battle in tribute to 4-Tek is this coming Saturday (29th November 2008) night in Wellington City at Paramount.

There are a few DJ’s showing up from around the country for this battle. Everyone has been a bit quiet this time as to their entry this time round, which is a bit weird. It’s also cool though, because it means on the night it will be a bit more of a challenge.

There are a few things you should know:

Judges:

DJ Raw & Alphabethead

Elimination Routine:

Eliminations are starting at 11pm. The time has to be in between 2mins & 3mins. So basically you have a 60 second grace period for your Routine to be valid.

Bonus Jam On Saturday (During the Day):

If the DJ’s are keen, Soundwave is looking at putting on a Jam in Manners Mall during the day. This is to advertise the gig, and for DJ’s to show up to show they’re entering.
