First things first, I am sorry for not posting this up sooner- It isn’t like me to be slow with this, but I was waiting for some clearer details to come through first before posting the details up.

This is offically the first set of DJ Battles for 2009 and they look pretty good. There are 2 DJ Battles- one is a mix battle, the other is a turntablist battle (our “traditional” battle). The battle is on January 24 at the Auckland Showgrounds as part of the 4 and Rotary Nationals Show & Shine car show.

It’s quite cool that there are 2 battles and I’m hoping some of YOU folks will enter the Juice TV Battle Of The DJ’s and smash it. The guy who is running the 4 and Rotary car show has been real co-operative with answering questions and getting back to me on shit – So I can’t see anything turning to crap anytime soon. The only details I don’t know are what the prizes are and who the judges are. This battle is slightly different to others because you have to pay a small fee of $35.00 to enter. The fee is payable on the day when you turn up to compete.
