DJ Raw is the man!

These clips are of Raw in the 1997 Australasian ITF DJ Battle which was hosted in Aussie. I had only heard about this battle and never seen it, so this is mean to have some footage at last.

The first clip is of one of Raws Routines in the Semi Final. I have no idea who it was against etc, but the clip shows how clean and talented the dude is. The Second clip is of the Grand Final where he faced DJ Kuya and beat him to become the 1997 Australasian ITF DJ Champion.

The signature Upfader control from DJ Raw is full effect in the second video. Remember back then the 05 Pro had a curve which was no where as customisable and as good as most mixers you get now. Give the man some serious props and credit because that shit is hard to pull off on upfaders I’m sure.
