Introducing: The Technics Range Available In NZ…

Well Well Well… Reading about the recession, it seems that the parent owner of the Technics Brand Panasonic have done some slashes to their product lines globally.

I can’t speak for any other country but New Zealand (of course) and this is the current product line available from the Technics Range:

Headphones:

RP-DJ100E-S
RP-DH1200E-S
RP-DJ1200E-K
RP-DJ1210E-S

Turntables:

SL-1200MK5
SL-1210M5G

And that’s it. As you can see Technics have scrapped their Mixer range (lets face it- they weren’t THAT good anyway) and they have also ditched that fucking gay CD Turntable they came up with (thank god). The Technics SL-1200MK2 got discontinued a little while ago now and has been replaced now by the SL-1200MK5.

So all we’re down to are some headphones and 2 turntables. I hope this is all the cuts Panasonic are thinking on doing. It would be real sad to see our babies dead, so lets not let that happen.

yeah mate. i was at DMC yesterday during my lunch, and apparently they gonna discontinue a few prodects and also decrease the different colours available for each product. Reason why, NZ DOLLAR IS STRAIGHT GAY… i got me a bag = $249.00, the guy said in a few weeks they will be putting that price up to $600! wat da fuk is dat shit

  2. DJ Impact Says:

The Technics DMC mixers are mean as, the fader is dope and up faders got the dopest curves. The eqs are badass… it’d be one of my top 3 mixers!

  3. Joe Turksta Says:

I dunno bro….. I’ve never really dug them aye… Dunno why… The Technics mixers and I always have issues when we meet. hahaa

  4. Sticky Fingaz Says:

I’m with Impact on this one, the old technics fader doesnt last long before it leaks tho, but the upfaders are butter!

  5. GBUCK Says:

Bit worried about the influx of self proclamied bedroom electro dj’s that the price cut will encourage.
