My homie DJ Sir-Vere has just dropped Major Flavours 5 in Australia which is an awesome achievement. If you’re in Australia, cop a copy – It’s worth it!
This is one hell of a mixtape that I found on Rap Radar. I love mixtapes made by either Mick Boogie or of course Jazzy Jeff. Having both of these guys working on one mixtape.. well that’s straight Epic!
On a side note: Jazzy Jeff was amazing live at the 2003 Hip Hop Summit in Auckland City. His set was insane.

I was searching Scratch Live 2.0 videos on Youtube and came across this gem!
The video below is an I-Pad controlling Serato Scratch Live 2.0 which is pretty amazing. Ages ago there were talks of the I-Phone doing this sort of shit, but the issue there is the screen is fucking small. The I-Pad solves this problem and by what it’s doing in the video below, it makes me want to buy one.
Recently DJ Impact & Wil K were on Hip Hop Central which Airs on Maori Television.
They have a full Elite Forces interview and a cut. If you want to get an insight on these two guys as they were coming up during their respective DJ Careers then check out the link below:
It’s been a while since I have done some proper updating. I’ve said this heaps before, but I am going to try and keep this updated as much as I can.
A bit has happened in this time- The biggest one is that Scratch Dat! has become 2 years old. Doesn’t seem very long ago since I started this blog. I’m stoked I’ve stuck with it.
The other thing is the Battle I posted up 2 posts ago. It hasn’t happened yet, and the details are yet to be confirmed. Last I heard Reminise was sorting out some sponsorship to hold the battle and getting prizes organised. I will keep you posted with more information.
Check in from tomorrow for more updates on stuff!!!
