Enough is enough. Just shut the fuck up and earn the title instead of giving it to yourself. You haven’t earned it.
“Video Beats #3 – Sampled an incredibly rare 1980′s New Zealand soul tune for this one. Made on the MPC5000.
Pointed the camera out the window of my cab to the airport in Gold Coast after a gig the night before. GC looks a bit different to my last video in LA. I like the contrast”
This Thursday (02/06/2011) see’s the launch of the weekends in live club format. Come down to Code on the corner of Queen Street & Shortland Street in Auckland City to catch the full Mai Mix Weekend line up rocking the club all night long. So come on down, it’s free entry, caps allowed and of course I.D! See you there!
I’m trying to get this blog busy again so i’ll try my best to keep heaps of posts coming.
I was just talking to the homie Shiftee and he has just made a sick video clip of his 2009 DMC World Finals Winning Routine. This is the illest clip i’ve seen with all the past champs doing their winning routines on their Gold Turntables.
The concept was real sick and original, our mans should get an award for this haha! He said we could share it here at Scratchdat for everyone to check out, so watch this shit!
Another year done and dusted. This year they picked 10 dj’s to advance through to the 6 min rounds instead of the normal 12. Congrats to the dj’s that made it through and everyone that battled in the DMC Finals Weekend. Below are the results for the World Finals (6 Min Showcase) Battle.
It’s that time of the year again and the 1st day of the DMC World Finals in London just ended. Below are the results for the World Supremacys and the World Team Battles.
Battle For World Supremacy:
1st: Switch – Defending Champ! (UK)
2nd: Getback – (France)
3rd Equal: Solo – (USA) and the other DJ still has TBC.
Sounds like the 1st night at the DMC World Finals was another dope battle. Looking forward for to the release of the DVD.
Congrats to my homie Switch (UK) for winning it a 3rd time, breaking the record of most title wins in a row at the World Supremacys. Another big shout out goes to Kireek (Japan) for succesfully defending their title in the World Teams Champs. They are now tied with C2C (France) with 4 consecutive wins!!
Here is a clip of one of Switch’s routines from the Battle for World Supremacy Finals a few hours ago!
